Blogcampkerala was held at Alapuzha starting from the Punnamada Jetty on the Houseboat ‘Celebrations’. More than 50 bloggers and aspiring blogger met up on this event to share knowhow and chat.

Highly informative sessions were taken on health Hazards of typing continously , monetizing blogs, podcasting and local blogging. Mani Karthik took the session on monetizing blog when Podcasting was covered by Pradeep Somasundaram.
Attractions were Sajeev – the FATcarTOONIST , Kerala farmer and many others. Mostly the event was highly inspirational for the young crowd. Sajeev drew caricatures of all participants

The event was sponsored by KeralaTourism and I cannot comment less on the House Boat or the Excellent food that was served.

We had a great time from 11 till 5 pm on the house boat with lots of intellectuals to interact, great food, extreme scenic beauty and huge loads of information. As a result of the camp blogging may get the much needed facelift among Keralites.
